Snapshard is a research-grade ML engineering practice based in Wyoming.
We build production ML systems end-to-end. The work spans ML infrastructure and platform engineering, optimized inference and deployment, applied research, and LLM training and fine-tuning.

Ilyas leads every Snapshard engagement end-to-end. The practice exists because the hardest parts of shipping ML (making research reproducible at scale, getting inference fast and cheap enough to deploy, building infrastructure that survives a year of iteration) are still the parts most teams underbudget.
Background: MSc Statistical Science from the University of Oxford and an engineering degree from École Polytechnique, with research published at NeurIPS and ICML. Years of applied work bridging research and production at the intersection of ML systems and deep learning.
